I selected the most feminine & romantic dresses but also the most eccentric this week at the New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Annual Costume Institute Gala. It is the season’s most coveted fashion event.
The night belonged to Alexander McQueen and the museum was transformed into a Scottish Highland garden as a retrospective of the late designer’s work. The hosts this year were Salma Hayek, Francois-Henri Pinault, Colin Firth, Stella McCartney and Anna Wintour.
Many of the guests showed up in McQueen past and present creations.
